SWEET PASTEL DREAM

This romantic Northern Utah wedding began at the beautiful Layton, Utah Temple and continued with a charming backyard reception in Farmington. Combining a temple ceremony with a relaxed, at-home celebration, this wedding perfectly captured the balance of elegance and personality that many Utah couples are looking for.

The color palette featured soft blush, creamy yellow, and light blue, creating a fresh, airy look ideal for spring and summer weddings in Utah. These tones complemented both the timeless temple setting and the playful backyard reception, where a poolside atmosphere and striped umbrellas added a fun, inviting touch.

The bridal bouquet was designed with garden-inspired blooms including scabiosa, roses, and lisianthus, offering delicate texture and romantic movement. A standout detail was the draping cotton ribbon in a blue toile pattern, adding a soft, heirloom feel and tying in beautifully with the overall color story.

Bridesmaid bouquets were thoughtfully designed to coordinate with the bride’s florals while also serving a second purpose. After the ceremony, these bouquets were repurposed as reception centerpieces, paired with bud vases on each table to create a cohesive and sustainable floral design.

For couples planning a Utah Temple wedding, this celebration highlights how intentional floral choices, soft color palettes, and repurposed arrangements can create a seamless and memorable event from ceremony to reception.
