MOODY &
MAGNETIC TROPICALS
This one was all mood, in the best possible way.
Set inside The Copper Nickel in Ogden, Utah, this wedding design leaned fully into drama, texture, and depth. This is what happens when romance meets edge and neither one backs down.
The ceremony structure was intentionally bold and architectural, giving the florals a strong foundation to work against. We picked florals with the intent of creating a one-of-a-kind look, and delivered just that. With metallic anthurium, calathea leaves, and gold ruscus, this wedding is one for the books.
WHY THIS DESIGN WORKS
Industrial spaces demand confidence. This design met the venue exactly where it was at - strong, raw, and character-rich. The balance between structure and emotion is what made this ceremony feel grounded, intimate, and unforgettable.
It’s proof that wedding florals don’t have to be light and airy to be deeply romantic.
Based in Utah and available for destination weddings, Velvet Ant Studio specializes in floral designs that feel intentional, art-forward, and unique. From industrial venues like The Copper Nickel to destination celebrations beyond state lines, every design is tailored to the space and the love story of our couples.
If you’re drawn to moody palettes, architectural florals, and designs that spark conversations, we should talk.
